13.10, 13.11, 13.13 jam error in the output bin

Use the following procedure to check for paper in all possible jam locations related to the output bin. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays a message and an animation that assists in clearing the jam.

• 13.10.yz Paper is jammed in the output bin
• 13.11.yz Paper is jammed in the output bin
• 13.13.yz Paper is jammed in the output bin

1. If paper is visible in the output bin, grasp the leading edge and remove it.

2. Press the front-door release button.

3. Open the front door on the printer.
   Figure : Open the front door

   
4. Lift the scanner assembly.

5. Remove any jammed paper from inside the printer.

6. Close the scanner assembly.
   Figure : Close the scanner assembly

   
7. Open the rear door on the printer.
   Figure : Open the rear door

   
8. Remove any jammed paper from the rear door area.
   Figure : Remove jammed paper from inside the rear door

   
9. Close the rear door and the front door on the printer.
