HP LaserJet Pro - Find the IP address for an HP LaserJet Pro printer

Learn how to find the IP address on a LaserJet Pro printer control panel.

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is an identification number assigned to the printer when it connects to a network. Find the printer IP address from the control panel menu.

Depending on the options displayed on the control panel, perform one of the following tasks:

    1. On the printer control panel, press the OK button to display the Home screen.

    2. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to and open the following menus: Setup → Network Setup → General Settings.

    3. On the General Settings menu, select Show the IP Address, and then select Yes to display the printer's IP address or host name.

    2. Open the Network Setup menu, and then select Show IP Address to display the IP address or host name.
